Are you passionate about quality new writing?
Fishamble is dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new work for the Irish stage. If, like us, you love nothing better than the thrill of new plays why not help us to continue to be at the forefront of the production of original work?
You can donate by cheque: Write to us at 3 Great Denmark Street, Dublin 1, email Eva Scanlan at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone us on (01) 670 4018 to join. Thank you.
All donations over €250 are eligible for tax relief at a rate of 31% as set out in Finance Act 2013. This tax relief is payable directly to Fishamble. Memberships and associated benefits are valid for 12 months from the date of sign up. Please note tax relief is only available to donors who do not wish to receive benefits or public recognition for their donation.
If you would like to support a particular new writing initiative/production we would be happy to discuss this with you. Such projects may include Fishamble’s New Writing Award in the Dublin Fringe Festival, a particular playwright or artist, The New Play Clinic Initiative, publication of new work, etc.
Further information on where your money will go
Your money will help Fishamble to produce plays by first-time and established playwrights. Fishamble has produced work in Dublin, toured nationally and internationally. We have worked with playwrights such as Sebastian Barry, Maeve Binchy, Marina Carr, Pat Kinevane, Gavin Kostick, Sean McLoughlin, Gina Moxley, Joseph O’Connor, Mark O’Rowe, Abbie Spallen, Sonya Kelly and Julian Gough.
Your support will enable us to further our work in developing first time writers.
Finally, it will support us in developing new and imaginative theatrical projects, such as our Whereabouts – a site-specific multi-work, which received the Judges Special Award at The Irish Times Irish Theatre Award 2006 for creativity and innovation.
